I had the good fortune to take part in a special night on Nov 29th, the anniversary of George Harrison’s death and the 40th anniversary of his seminal solo album, “All Things Must Pass.”  Over 40 musicians brought their talent to this special night at the Bell House in Brooklyn, which raised money for The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF.  Brooklyn musician Greta Gertler organized the event and led her Universal Thump Orchestra to perform the original arrangements — which included two drumkits, string and horn sections, pedal steel and vibraphone. What a beautiful night for both the musicians and audience. Here’s a few photos taken by Jeff Fasano and a few of the 24 “mini interviews” I conducted to capture the night. Enjoy!
